About MB Medical solutions
Born of a need to provide the highest level of event medical care, beyond simply
first aid, Dr. Kate Bunyan teamed up with Emergency Nurse Practitioner Katie Miller
to bring their extensive NHS and business experience to deliver best-practice
medical care to guests, staff, and on-site workers at events.
Since 2014 MB Medical Solutions has been committed to providing exceptional
medical care at some of the UK’s highest profile events, including the iconic
Goodwood festivals. Bringing together event cover and first aid training, MB Medical
Solutions creates safe gatherings and confident, highly skilled first aid providers.

About South Sussex Raynet
South Sussex Raynet, G1 SSR, is part of the national RAYNET-UK network and is an integral part of local council resilience plans alongside providing robust and effective communications for a wide range of community events.
RAYNET-UK Groups across the UK routinely provide simple voice networks nearly every weekend of the year in one location or another. Generally this will be from the event control location (such as the start or finishing point), out to one or more remote check points along a set route. RAYNET-UK can often get voice communication signals in to places mobile phones and business radio systems don’t work. RAYNET-UK will provide staff (a radio operator) and equipment at both ends of each required link, who will in turn act as a communications path for your event staff to pass Health, Welfare and Safety Messages. RAYNET-UK DOES NOT provide checkpoint staff or marshals. RAYNET-UK members DO NOT carry out duties such as first aid, directing or stopping traffic as our insurance DOES NOT allow for these activities.
RAYNET-UK groups such as South Sussex Raynet;
- Can communicate over difficult terrain
- Can work without a mains electricity supply
- Not affected by telephone exchanges or mobile phone cells becoming over-used
- Can communicate reliably and over far further distances than CB or licence-free radios
- If radio traffic becomes excessive, our operators are experienced at prioritising messages
- All Radio Amateurs pass a technical examination and can make running repairs in the field
Members are able transfer skill sets learned on our equipment to operate and control large groups of event staff on your hired in business radio equipment (PMR or PBR etc). RAYNET-UK members are used to talking on radios with users of all level of skills, from first time users (just been handed a radio) to working and talking to other agencies such as the blue light services, POLICE, FIRE, Ambulance Service, St. Johns and Red Cross.
Mobile Command & Control Environment
The South Sussex RAYNET group has a number of useful assets at our disposal which can be deployed to assist other agencies working to manage an event in challenging environments. Our purpose build control vehicle built into a Ford Transit minibus is suitable for a small team of two people to work easily on desk based tasks such as radio operation and computer admin tasks. The van is self contained with everything needed to make remote working painless, 13A mains power from a 2KW generator, 12vDC via 30amp APP connectors, task lighting, Clarke Mast (Compressor driven, Nine meter, Internal Vehicle Mounted , PT9 Telescopic). Driven to site and deployed by one of our engineering team.
